Ms. Estela

Ms. Estela, a grandmother, retired since 2015, living with her daughter and granddaughter on a simple, peaceful property in flood-affected Leander, TX, has faithfully served her community through volunteer work and a life rooted in faith.  Following the July 2025 floods, she experienced several setbacks when contractors took advantage of flood recovery assistance funds, leaving critical repairs unfinished and a strong sense of disappointment.  

The CR team is working to restore and protect her home by repairing exterior siding, flashing, and interior subfloor damage to prevent further water intrusion.  Additional work will include building safe access stairs and completing other much needed repairs to ensure her home is secure for her family.
