Ms. Kim is a widow whose home was deeply affected by the 2025 Sandy Creek floods. Despite everything she has walked through, Kim’s faith has remained incredibly strong, and her testimony is one of perseverance and trust in the Lord.

While she has received help with several needs, the deck behind her home remains structurally compromised and unsafe. We have the privilege of coming alongside Kim to repair and restore her deck, creating a safe and welcoming space for her once again. We believe volunteers will arrive ready to serve her but will actually leave deeply encouraged by the opportunity to know her.

Whether you have carpentry experience or simply a willing heart and a desire to learn, there is a place for you on this project. Financial partners can help provide funds for pressure-treated lumber, decking, structural hardware, screws, concrete, disposal costs, and the other materials required to make the deck safe.
