Ms. Diana

Ms. Diana and her husband are raising two vibrant daughters in a home that should be a place of safety, joy, and stability. Unfortunately, flooring that was improperly installed several years ago has caused significant damage to the subfloor and the vinyl plank flooring itself. Floors throughout their mobile home are now buckling and collapsing, creating dangerous living conditions for the entire family - and they lack the means to take care of repairs of this magnitude.

Meaningful restoration does not always happen in a single day. The repairs at Ms. Diana’s home are being addressed over several phases. As such, the CR team will return to continue working on the damaged and collapsing floors that extend throughout several areas of the family’s home.

This project has required significant skilled labor, materials, and perseverance. Therefore, please continue praying for this loving family and for the Lord to provide these and the financial resources necessary to complete the work with excellence. Donations toward plywood, flooring, adhesives, fasteners, trim, subfloor sheets, disposal costs, and other construction expenses will help us continue the project without placing a financial burden on the family.

Whether this is your first day at Ms. Diana’s home or you are returning to continue what was started, your presence matters and is very much appreciated.

Let’s faithfully keep showing up while remembering that Christ is the true Restorer and the only One worthy of praise!

Ms. Kim

Ms. Kim

Ms. Kim is a widow whose home was deeply affected by the 2025 Sandy Creek floods. Despite everything she has walked through, Ms. Kim’s faith has remained incredibly strong, and her testimony is one of perseverance and trust in the Lord.

While she did receive help with several needs, the deck behind her home remained structurally compromised and very unsafe. However, the CR team recently had the privilege of coming alongside Ms. Kim to begin to repair and restore her deck. Now, we will return to Kim’s home to finish restoring her deck and make sure it is safe, stable, and ready to serve her well for years to come.

Finishing matters. We do not want to simply begin a project and move on. We want to serve with excellence, follow through on our commitments, and leave Ms. Kim with a space that reflects how deeply she is valued by Christ. You will certainly be blessed by getting to know her!

Volunteers will work diligently to install decking boards, apply stain, and put the finishing touches on the deck. If you have carpentry skills, or want to learn some, please join us on this project. Financial gifts will help recover the cost of lumber, hardware, protective coatings, and final materials used to complete the project.

Let’s finish the work, encourage Ms. Kim, and celebrate what Christ accomplishes when His people faithfully respond to His call. All glory belongs to Him!

Ms. Estela

Ms. Estela

Ms. Estela is a grandmother, retired since 2015, who lives with her daughter and granddaughter on a simple, peaceful property in the flood-affected area of Leander. She identifies herself as being religious and participates in a lot of volunteer work. Her daughter has also been a big part of helping out with flood recovery efforts in the area since last year.

When recovery started after the July 2025 floods, Ms. Estela unfortunately had several bad experiences with contractors that took advantage of the funds she received for flood assistance. This left her with several problems that were not taken care of and that she simply couldn’t manage on her own.

We would like to ensure that her home is safe from the elements and prevent any further water intrusion by continuing the repairs we started in June. We will work on some exterior siding, flashing, and some interior subfloor damage.

Come join us to show the love of Christ to this wonderful neighbor in need!

Ms. Brucha

Ms. Brucha's story during the past several months is interwoven with CR volunteers coming alongside her for both physical projects and the CR Care Team. She had recently faced multiple life events, tragedy, and problems with her family home.

In addition to the home repair and care assistance Ms. Brucha had been receiving, she was in urgent and imminent need of a full roof replacement, after past storms caused catastrophic roof failure with water entering at multiple points in her home.

The good news is that the Lord was obviously pursuing her - as His love, provision, and community rallied around her! After much prayer, our wonderful partner, Waypoint Roofing of Dripping Springs, generously offered to donate and install a brand-new roof... what a blessing!

But before the roof can be installed, the CR team must take care of some repairs to the fascia boards and framing around the roof. So, please consider joining us in person and in prayer, as we continue sharing the gospel with Ms. Brucha and meeting some of her home repair needs in this season of challenges.

Come meet this wonderful neighbor as we work to provide her with safety, comfort, and the peace that only the Lord provides!

WILCO Women’s Center

WILCO Women’s Center is a faith-based ministry in Georgetown, TX providing pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, compassionate support, education, and life-affirming alternatives to women facing difficult and often overwhelming decisions.

The Lord is blessing this ministry with rapid growth, and exciting plans are moving forward to expand its ability to care for women and families. While that larger vision develops, Cornerstone Restoration has an immediate opportunity to help improve the current property by creating additional parking and completing much-needed landscaping.

Financial partners can help provide donations to purchase the stone for borders, commercial weed barrier, landscape staples, edging, fuel, equipment, and other materials needed to complete the project. Donations toward this serve day will help WILCO Women’s Center direct more of its resources toward caring for the women and families it serves.

This will be a big day requiring many hands, strong backs, joyful attitudes, and hearts ready to serve another ministry doing important Kingdom work. May the finished space welcome every woman with dignity and compassion, and may Christ alone receive the glory for bringing His people and resources together!

Ms. Susan

Ms. Susan is a widow who inherited her family home, along with years of maintenance needs and damage that have become more than she can physically or financially address on her own. Despite these challenges, Susan has continued to express her gratitude and her unwavering faith that God sees her, hears her prayers, and will provide a way forward. Cornerstone Restoration now has the privilege of becoming part of His provision as the body of Christ rallies around her.

After focusing on several repairs inside Ms. Susan’s home this past Thursday, the CR team will return Saturday to turn our attention to the property outside. Susan has beautiful trees and a yard with tremendous potential, but both have become difficult for her to maintain. We will trim trees, remove overgrowth, clean up debris, and help restore an outdoor space she can once again enjoy and manage safely.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for volunteers of many ages and experience levels to serve together. Donations will help to cover the cost of landscaping tools, equipment rentals, hauling and disposal costs, mulch, trimming supplies, and other materials needed for the day.

Bring your gloves, yard favorite yard tools, strong backs, and joyful hearts as we continue reminding Susan that she is seen and loved. May our service reflect Christ’s love clearly, with every bit of praise returning to Him!

Financial gifts will help to purchase lumber, drywall, paint, flooring, hardware, repair supplies, and any professional assistance needed to complete the work properly.

Susan is also known for making incredible peach tea, so come early, bring your energy, and prepare for a joyful day of restoration and fellowship. Above all, let’s make certain that our service directs every heart toward Christ, who sees Susan, hears her prayers, and alone deserves the glory!

Ms. Anne

Ms. Anne is a wonderful single mother with a big heart, who has poured precious time into making her house a home over the years - doing many projects herself with creativity and inspiration and love for her family and others. As the years passed, however, parts of her house succumbed to the elements, and Cornerstone Restoration was blessed to walk alongside Anne and her family previously to assist with plumbing and carpentry needs in their Spicewood home.

Now, once again, the Lord has called us to Anne’s home to share His love and to be a living expression of His Word by showing up, serving faithfully, and loving her family boldly. We are grateful for the opportunity to return to continue bringing greater safety and stability through additional carpentry work, debris cleanup, yard assistance, and other potential improvements. We are especially excited to welcome one of our new church partners and members of their congregation as we serve together as one body in Christ. What a beautiful opportunity to build new relationships while rallying around a family in our own community.

Financial gifts will allow CR to purchase lumber, hardware, disposal supplies, landscaping materials, and whatever additional resources are identified through the final scope.

Please begin praying now that Christ would be clearly seen and experienced through every volunteer, every conversation, every act of generosity, and every moment spent with Anne and her family. He alone deserves the glory for all that is accomplished!

This is our chance to bless a family that continually pours into others and to remind them that those who spend their lives serving the Lord also need to be surrounded and cared for by the body of Christ.

Volunteers can help with the removal, repair, and installation work.

Let’s show up with gratitude and love, not to draw attention to ourselves, but to encourage this family and bring honor to the Christ they so faithfully serve!

But beyond the physical work at hand, this is a beautiful opportunity to come alongside this family to provide prayer, fellowship, and encouragement, and to demonstrate what it truly means to bear one another's burdens as the body of Christ!

There is room for many skill levels on this project. Financial partners can also help provide leveling materials, pipe insulation, paint, fasteners, and the other supplies needed to complete the work safely and well.

Ms. Lorraine

Northwest Austin, TX

Ms. Lorraine and her family faithfully devoted many years of their lives to serving as missionaries in New Guinea. Today, she lives in Northwest Austin with her husband and their son, Neil. Recently, their water heater reached the end of its life. Now, Cornerstone Restoration has the privilege of sending brothers and sisters in Christ to install a new water heater and bless a family that has spent so much of its life serving others. Those fortunate enough to spend time with Lorraine may also hear incredible stories of God’s faithfulness on the mission field!

We are praying for the Lord to provide a replacement water heater, the installation materials, and the skilled volunteers needed to complete the work. Those who do not have plumbing experience can still participate through prayer or by donating financially toward the purchase and installation of the new unit.

Let’s surround these faithful servants with love and care, giving all glory to Christ for the opportunity to serve those who have spent so many years making Him known around the world!

Mr. Felix

Leander, TX

Mr. Felix is an elderly neighbor who has endured several surgeries over the past few months. He is a joyful man who loves people—and especially loves having people pray with him. Currently, he has a leaking pipe outside his home that needs to be repaired before it causes additional damage or sends his water bill beyond what he can reasonably manage. This may appear to be a smaller repair, but it is a meaningful opportunity to protect his home, relieve a financial burden, and remind him that he has not been forgotten.

Volunteers with plumbing experience are needed, and financial gifts will help cover repair materials and any unexpected needs uncovered during the work.

Come ready to repair a leak, share encouragement, and pray with a wonderful neighbor. May everything that is accomplished point Felix and all of us toward the kindness and provision of Christ!

Ms. Jowers

For over a year, CR has been praying for God to provide a way to help Annette, a devoted widow, mother, and grandmother, whose late husband submitted a project request to CR asking for help for his family even as his own health was failing – a final, selfless act of love that has stayed with us ever since. When we visited Annette after his passing, we found a woman of deep faith, pressing through challenge after challenge with a trusting heart, living in a home whose problems would require a mosaic of professional partners, generous donors, faithful volunteers, and persistent prayer to solve.

We believe God has been faithfully assembling a mosaic of brothers and sisters in Christ guided by the Holy Spirit, and the time has finally come to begin work on Annette’s home!

Before the heavy-duty restoration begins — which will ultimately touch nearly every functional component of the home, including roofing, electrical, plumbing, windows, floors, and both interior and exterior work — we need a day to clear debris, remove vegetation, and prepare the property so the path ahead is unobstructed. Most importantly, this first Serve Day will be a beautiful opportunity for the entire CR team to gather around Annette, pray with her, and remind her that she is deeply loved and that this restoration is a gift sent directly from God!

Please prayerfully consider joining us as a volunteer or donor — trust us, you will want to be a part of what God is about to do in Annette’s life and home!

Diana and her husband are raising two vibrant daughters in a home that should be a place of safety, joy, and stability. Unfortunately, flooring that was improperly installed several years ago has caused significant subfloor damage. Floors throughout their mobile home are now buckling and collapsing, creating dangerous living conditions for the entire family. Our first priority will be their daughter’s bedroom, where the damage is most severe and the floor has become especially unsafe. This is a substantial repair that the family cannot carry on its own, but we trust Christ to provide through His people.

Please pray for Diana and her family, for wisdom as we uncover the full extent of the damage, and for the Lord to provide every volunteer and resource needed. We have a significant need for subfloor sheets, new flooring, fasteners, and other construction materials. Those unable to serve in person can still come alongside this family by donating toward the materials and project expenses. Every gift, regardless of size, helps us create a safer home while demonstrating the compassion of Christ.

Let’s come together with willing hands and humble hearts, trusting that Christ alone will receive the glory through every part of this restoration!

Ms. Kena

CR is no stranger to Ms. Kena, a hard-working widow and cancer survivor.  When she had holes in the floor, water damage, and a cracked tub, CR volunteers stepped in and faithfully walked alongside her to restore safety and peace to her home.  Through that experience and along with help from the CR Care team, Ms. Kena fell in love with the CR mission, its volunteers, and the community, and can now often be found at Bible study enjoying fellowship with other CR ladies!

Ms. Kena has since become a devoted volunteer herself, faithfully using her gifts to serve others – which makes it such a joy to now turn around and bless her once again!  Her property has an abundance of growth (overgrowth!) and is in need of a good yard cleanup. We want to bless her with this cleanup and getting some things done that she just cannot tackle on her own.

Please prayerfully consider joining us to roll up our sleeves and show this faithful sister in Christ the same love and care she so freely pours out on others!

Mike & Deb (Georgetown, TX)

Mike & Deb (new neighbors) are a missionary couple that spend long periods of time serving and training pastors in the Philippines.  While stateside, they maintain a travel trailer in Georgetown to call home. When the central TX-style rains come, there is water that pours down onto one of their doors and into their trailer, requiring a few creative and ingenious hands to find a proper solution. There are also a few other maintenance projects to be completed.  What better way to support a missionary couple and show them the love of the body of Christ, than for them to come home to the comfort of a sound home, and a few less things to fix!

Ms. Sonia (Dripping Springs, TX)

Ms. Sonia is an elderly, disabled widow in Dripping Springs that has felt the love of CR before.  A wheelchair user for over twenty (20) years due to an accident, she has carried both physical limitations and the deep aches of loss from having endured the passing of two husbands and her son.  CR volunteers have come to know and love this sister-in-Christ and have previously helped with extensive cleanup on her property, installation of an accessible shower, and some wood staining to protect her wheelchair ramp.  Several volunteers that have kept up with Ms. Sonia and her sister, Sylvia, found out that she needed a toilet installed and have been asking when we're going back.  Well, here's your chance!  We are going to finish up the staining on her main wheelchair ramp and also install the new accessible toilet that will be much safer for her to use.

Ms. Paula, a hard-working single mother who raised her children and continued working into retirement just to make ends meet, lived in a home in Burnet, TX that looked cute and loved from the outside but was quietly falling apart, with holes in the walls, broken plumbing, rotting siding, and electrical outlets sparking fires simply from being used. Through more than 25 Serve Days over an 8-month period, numerous CR volunteers answered prayers with diligent hands, rebuilding Ms. Paula's home and making it safe again for her, her children, and her grandchildren! However, God's work didn't stop there, neighbors in her community also began to take notice, and HIS transformation is now rippling outward!

Reflecting on all of the big projects that so many volunteers poured their hearts into at Ms. Paula's, the CR team wants to go back and work on a punch list of a few odds and ends to finish up.  We also just want to fellowship with her and reflect on the love that came together in her home!

The team will be working on some unfinished painting, trim work, light switch covers, drywall patches, and a few other small projects.

The lingering health issues and significant needs around the property have created a situation that requires lots of help to restore safety, stability, and dignity to Mr. Lee and his family.  It is into this space, that the Lord led Cornerstone Restoration to mobilize volunteers to provide some much needed relief.  Mr. Lee has not been able to keep up with the significant overgrowth on his property.  Therefore, we want to continue blessing him and his family with some landscaping work and general cleanup.

Please prayerfully consider coming out to help this new neighbor in need and brother in Christ... and possibly donating funds to help with the vast restoration process ahead.  Thank you!

Renita

Ms. Renita’s journey was once marked by deep loss, the heavy weight of grief, and overwhelming physical hardship.  However, through a divine connection with her church in Bertram, Ms. Renita and her son Melvin saw last year just how God works through faithful and loving volunteers!

Volunteers repaired her home—restoring safety, stability, and dignity—but the Lord was also at work in her heart. As walls were rebuilt, so too was her faith, and she discovered a renewed bond with her local church family.  It was a BIG project in which God worked through volunteers from her church and from around the area to bring about remarkable redemption.

Fast forward several months, and the CR team is going back to catch up with Ms. Renita and to repair a few additional things around her home - such as the back door and a faulty air conditioner unit.

You are surely to be amazed if you see 'before' photos and realize the incredible work that God does through His mobilized body of believers!  Won't you come join us to help this wonderful neighbor?
