Ms. Kay is an elderly widow and devoted follower of Christ who lives in a tiny home on her family’s property in Manchaca, surrounded by people who deeply love both her and the Lord - a family whose story will instantly capture your heart. Health challenges, recent loss, and various other difficult circumstances have taken their toll on this family, and Ms. Kay’s tiny home was in need of some much-needed attention, including leveling the structure, insulating exposed pipes, painting the exterior, and other needed repairs.

The CR team has had the pleasure of going out to Ms. Kay's a couple of times over the past few months to meet some of those needs. However, beyond the physical work at hand, a beautiful opportunity manifested to come alongside this amazing neighbor and her family to provide prayer, fellowship, and encouragement, and to demonstrate what it truly means to bear one another's burdens as the body of Christ!

Our team will now go back out there once again to finish up some painting and a few other touch ups. But more importantly, it will serve as another opportunity to love on Ms. Kay and remind her that she is not forgotten.
