Ms. Kim is a widow whose home was deeply affected by the 2025 Sandy Creek floods. Despite everything she has walked through, Ms. Kim’s faith has remained incredibly strong, persevering and trusting in the Lord.

While she did receive help with several needs, the deck behind her home remained structurally compromised and very unsafe. However, the Lord put the resources together this past August and September and brought a very skilled group of volunteers and craftsman to completely rebuild her deck! Now we just need to put some finishing touches on the carpentry and apply sealer and stain to the new wood.

Ms. Kim has such strong faith despite her circumstances, and such an amazing testimony that you will not walk away without feeling blessed by getting to know her. Please join us, no special skills required on this day, just the ability to spread the love of Christ and be His hands and feet!

Let’s finish the work, encourage Ms. Kim, and celebrate what Christ accomplishes when His people faithfully respond to His call. All glory belongs to Him!

Financial gifts will also help recover the cost of lumber, hardware, protective coatings, and final materials used to complete this project.
