Ms. Kim is a widow whose home was deeply affected by the 2025 Sandy Creek floods. Despite everything she has walked through, Kim’s faith has remained incredibly strong, and her testimony is one of perseverance and trust in the Lord.

While she did receive help with several needs, the deck behind her home remained structurally compromised and unsafe. However, the CR team recently had the privilege of coming alongside Kim to begin to repair and restore her deck. Now, we will return to Kim’s home to finish restoring her deck and make sure it is safe, stable, and ready to serve her well for years to come.

Finishing matters. We do not want to simply begin a project and move on. We want to serve with excellence, follow through on our commitments, and leave Kim with a space that reflects how deeply she is valued by Christ.

Volunteers will help complete the remaining carpentry, decking, railing, cleanup, and finishing work. Financial gifts will help cover the cost any remaining lumber, hardware, protective coatings, and final materials required to complete the project.
